GetMyBoat Launches Currency Conversion to Establish Global Presence in the Online Boat Rental & Charter Marketplace

Convert boat rental prices

As the leader in the boat rental and charter marketplace, GetMyBoat strives to develop, and make available to the public, website features that establish us as the international market leader in the industry. Today, we are happy to announce the first launch of our site-wide price currency conversion tool. For our first release of this feature, we are focusing on locales that cover the following five currencies: United States Dollar, Euro, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and the British Pound.

This tool is designed for both boat owner and boat renter. Boat owners can select their desired currency and apply it to the prices of their listed watercrafts. Boat renters, regardless of the currency set by the owner, can select their desired currency and the tool will display all watercraft rates in the selected currency.

One of the challenges with conversion tools is that exchange rates are constantly changing. GetMyBoat’s currency converter allows the user to select their desired currency only once and from there, the exchange rates are automatically kept up to date on a regular basis.

At GetMyBoat, we pride ourselves in making things easy for our users and have implemented this feature based on customer feedback. As GetMyBoat continues to grow and develop inventory in international markets, the number of currencies supported will also expand. While additional currencies for this feature have yet to be decided, you can be sure they will be based on customer feedback and usage!

If you have any ideas or feedback for GetMyBoat, please send us an email at info@getmyboat.com.
